Looking back throughout the year.

Facebook: This year has taught me many things for my young mind. It was a rough, but good year. It was the year that I became a Christian, which has become a big deal for me. I had to force myself to let go of my past after multiple depressing months, but in realizing how strong I really am and how strong I have become since years past. I learn how to laugh at myself, the value of friendship, hard-work, help others and finding the start of who I might become. I've answered questions that I've asked for years and I've had to learn to let some unanswered questions, go unanswered. This year has its many ups and plenty of disappointments. I've remained a vegetarian for three years, losing twenty pounds and a great friend and having to trust the unknown. In all my young, ignorant nineteen years, I must say so far this is the year I grew the most. I feel as though I haven't grown much, but I know I have. This may all sound cheesy, but this year meant I lot to me. I lost so much, but learned so much more. I still have yet to learn patience though.

December 30, 2012 [Giving Blood]

Katie called today and invited me to a New Year's Eve party tomorrow, she also asked if I wanted to give blood. April drove Katie and I to Wal-Mart. Sadly, I wasn't able to give blood because I am still taking antibodies for my wisdom teeth which got taken out December 17th, but still I attempted to give blood, I was able to receive a free t-shirt. The nurses seemed nice. I also found out that April is going on a missionary February 19th, 2012 in Utah. I hope all goes well.

Finished reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K.Rowling today. Last book of the year.

Found my battery charger and my chargeable batteries after a year of being lost. I am now back in business with backup batteries and my trusty camera at my side.

December 28, 2012 [Dark Corner]

Worked ten hours at work and in between lunch and dinner hours, I was literally left in the dark while sitting in the restaurant reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. Mr. Det asked me if I wanted to stay his house with the kids or stay at the restaurant. I kept the radio on for company.

December 27, 2012 [New Clothes and Reformation]

Mom took me shopping as a late Christmas present. I finally gave in to her pleads. It was a good thing I did, because I love the new shirts I got, which are hanging in the front of my closet. To the left shows the fact that after shopping I moved my white crate boxes to underneath my boundless line of clothes, inside my closet. Now sits an lonely, black stool and clothes lying upon the floor.

December 23, 2012 [Christmas Eve, Eve]

Went to church with Robbie, but during service we heard that his parents got in a wreck. Turns out they were ok, nobody was injured. Arrived at Robbie's house, ate Subway, shot 22 with Robbie and Grant, as well as playing pool. Later around five o'clock, we arrived at his Grandma Jean's house for dinner, which consisted of yummy pizza and homemade desserts. Gift and Santa Clause bingo were played afterwards. [Grounded] By the way, it has now been determined that "O Holy Night," is my favorite Christmas song, as well as the classic "Silent Night."

December 19, 2012 [Dads 77th Birthday]

Nineteen years ago, Dad would have never thought that he would be raising a girl, after having three sons. And never would he had thought that he would be adopting his own granddaughter. This man can be a true pain in the butt, but sometimes I have to remember he is the one who took me in as a child and raised me. His tough hands have taught me a lot throughout the years. Even though by blood he is my grandfather, in my eyes he has always been my father. Happy Wonderful Birthday to my father, Charles Boatwright. Psh! He's seventy-seven. [This picture is of his two of his sons, which are David and Stuart.]

December 12, 2012 [Revolution in World Missions, K.P. Yohannan

Been wrapping some early presents this week. A few weeks ago I was on Carm.org and I was sent a free book. I'm interested in reading it, but I do plan on reading Acts in the Bible before hand. Currently, I am on John.

December 6, 2012 [Laminin Necklace]

Received the laminin necklace in the mail today as a part of Robbie's Christmas gift. It looks amazing.
Laminin is a protein that looks like a cross, within the human body that literally holds humans together. Its kinda like God's "mark."
I found about laminin through my second email from Aunt Judy. Robbie was the one who wanted it as necklace.
